China Product Sourcing Agents

Step 1- Product Sourcing

An outsourced project begins by collaborating with your team to create a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document clearly defines your needs and specifications, and enables China suppliers to determine cost of production.
With the RFQ completed, our China-based team filters 20 to 40 factories on average to find the most qualified production partner for you. This is unique among US-based outsource firms and is facilitated by having an internal staff based in China.
Step 2-Build an Inquiry

After the filtering process has taken place and the best factory selected by our Chinese staff, your RFQ is translated into Chinese and submitted to the chosen factory. The purpose behind a native language RFQ is to ensure direct translation of needs, reduce the time for the process, and minimize potential for miscommunication.
Ultimately, this step lends authenticity to your request and reduces the time required for quotation. This reduces the risk of errors in production and extra costs due to inaccuracies in product specification.
Step 3-Build a US Quotation

Once the factory has the opportunity to review the RFQ and create an accurate quotation with associated delivery and timeline information, the Asian ProSource China staff translates all of it back into English. This seamless conversion allows US-based Asian ProSource Program Managers to work with clients and review the project in full. Once terms are agreed upon, it’s time to employ due diligence on the selected manufacturer.
Step 4-Due Diligence
Determine license type
- Is the factory properly licensed for international trade?
- Check registered capital
- Does the company have sufficient operating capital to take on your project?
- Examine export history
- Check references from other exported projects
- Inspect the condition of the factory
- Is it professionally run and sufficiently equipped?
- Check factory certifications
- ISO certified, etc?
Step 5-Build a Contract

Once due diligence is completed, Asian Pro Source works for you to build a binding contract with your manufacturing partner. Our contracts ensure legal enforcement of agreements, and are based on the jurisdiction of local courts in Shanghai. Local jurisdiction offers greater protection than US-based contracts, making disputes less likely and resolutions more obtainable.
Step 6-Build Inspection Standards

This appendix to the contract spells out every important detail requiring attention.
The AsianPro Source team in China works for you to oversee the production process and manage the Quality Control process based upon these standards.
Step 7-Build QC Checklist

This is the tool we use to measure quality, and we show it to our customers at every point of the production cycle.
Digital photos are taken upon completion of every line item on the checklist, representing completion of each point and ensuring no surprises in product quality once you receive your product.
Step 8-Sign, Seal & Deliver

After the final signoff by all parties, your container is sealed and delivered to the port of destination. Asian ProSource manages the entire logistics process, and tracks your production at every stage of the journey.
