Chinese Product Sourcing for Water Filters

H2O Water Filter Company – Direct Sourcing Case Study

Issue:

H2O – A nationwide custom-made water filter company was seeking help in manufacturing their product in China.  In 2006, the owner, Richard, contacted us and expressed that he wanted to build a good quality, but affordable, water filter for his customers.

Solution:

The APS China staff quickly contacted various factories that were experienced in manufacturing filter parts.  During the research process, APS was constantly in contact with H2O and successfully identified factories that met the criteria they were looking for. After visiting the selected factories himself, Richard was pleased with the selections and requested that APS begin working with them to manufacture the water filters.

Once the factories were selected, APS supervised the manufacturing process and provided the quality control to ensure that it would be consistent with the specifications provided by H2O.  Once the samples were completed, they were sent for Richards’ approval.  With his consent, we completed his order and prepared for shipment.

All containers were shipped and received as agreed and Richard was happy with the results.

The Results:

H2O was satisfied with the process, quality and result of their product and therefore requested APS to continue helping them facilitate their future orders.  For over 2 years now, the water filters have since been offered to the domestic market and have established a great reputation.
